@Lhoussine AIT TAYFST I'm here to echo what Komonzia said. I received an email notification titled "Amazigh Bot‬ left you a message on ⵡⵉⴽⵉⴱⵉⴷⵢⴰ". But I don't recognize "ⵡⵉⴽⵉⴱⵉⴷⵢⴰ". I admit that is ignorance on my part. But very importantly, I don't recall ever looking at anything on this Wikipedia. I have no idea what I might have done to trigger this action by this bot. I honestly believed it might be some kind of spam or phishing email. I had to log into my email inbox on a desktop computer to check the source domain before I recognized it as related to Wikipedia. Proposal to turn off and reconfigure this bot to limit spam behavior

(I apologize for not using Tamazight to start this discussion, but given the circumstances, I hope I will be forgiven.)

This bot seems to be improperly configured. It sends welcome messages even when it's not appropriate to do so. This bot welcomed me by leaving a message on my user talk page here. But as far as I can remember, I have never interacted with the Tamazight Wikipedia before. Messages from other users on this talk page show that I am not the only person with this problem. I suppose I must have opened a page on this Wikipedia out of idle curiosity while I was logged into my global account, but I don't remember doing that. Even if I did, that action on its own shouldn't be enough to trigger automated spam.
